Farm Hand intern:
Tasks:
- Assist the farm manager with daily tasks of running an urban farm
- Small livestock management
- Fence and tool repair
Desired outcomes:
- Learn the basics of horticulture
- Learn the basics of small livestock management
- Learn the building blocks of sustainable agriculture
- Learn the principles of Good Agricultural Practices (GAP’s)
Offered:
- Spring, (March through May)
- Summer (May through August)
- Fall (August through November)
- ~10-15 hours a week (schedule negotiable)
