Programs: Opportunity Gardens

Low-income families, schools, and other institutions are eligible to apply for an Opportunity Garden. CCUA staff and volunteers install raised bed gardens to suit the need of the family or school. These gardens come with everything needed to maintain it: plants, seeds, trellises, and a growing guide. Opportunity Garden recipients are encouraged to attend gardening workshops organized by CCUA. These gardens are funded by special grants, donations, and by a portion of the fees collected for edible landscaping services.
